September's New Homes Month approaches

The UK housebuilding industry will be launching a national New Homes Month this September 2010.

Scheduled from 4 September to 3 October 2010, the nationwide event will run for an extended period of a month this year, following on from the huge success of New Homes Week in 2009. Promoting all the benefits of buying a new home, the campaign will demonstrate to the home buying public why now is a great time to buy new.  A wide range of events and launches for new homes developments will roll out nationwide.

Last year’s event marked a pivotal moment for the housebuilding industry, signifying a growing positive attitude towards the housing market and generated a genuine upturn in consumer confidence.

David Pretty CBE, Chairman of the New Homes Marketing Board, says: “September is a key month in the home-buying calendar and New Homes Month 2010 will target those people thinking about moving to ensure they are aware of the huge benefits of buying new. Now is an excellent time to take advantage of the keen pricing and all the incentives and assistance currently available from housebuilders.

“Housebuilders across the country will be supporting this initiative to ensure it is just as much of a success as last year and delivers a real boost to the new homes market.”
